A classic soda-lime glass liquid measuring cup with printed measurement markings, a common fixture in American kitchens for decades.

Why it's buy-it-for-life

Owners report using the same Anchor Hocking glass measuring cup for 15+ years or more without it breaking. Soda-lime glass is more resistant to impact damage than borosilicate, so the cup mainly fails if dropped; the printed measurement lettering wears off over years of dishwasher use but the cup keeps working fine.

Have had this Anchor brand glass measuring cup for at least 15 years

Most of the words are worn off mine. Still works great though.

The pouring spout seems to not be in line with the handle, and the spout itself is drippy mess if you're only partially pouring out the contents of the cup.

I have a bunch of anchor glass and they have held up well.

I really don't use measuring cups that don't have measurement lines on the inside that allow you to pour from above and see
