I swear by Corelle. My mom still has a lot of the same plates now that we had when I was a child. Pretty dang strong, super easy to clean, and definitely can last a very long time.

my mom starting her pansy Corelle collection when I was about 4-5 years old and she's still using them (it's been almost 30 years)
27 years old and counting... Otherwise, timeless and looking brand new.
I think I'm going to sell them and go back to Corelle... my husband and I keep reaching for the same plate and two bowls. That's my sign to make the switch
As long as it is the three ply Vitrelle. The two ply stuff from China isn't as durable.
I have them and like them. They stack well and take up less of a footprint compared to my previous stoneware set.
I'm currently using my grandma's old set of Corelle plates, saucers, and bowls from the 90s... I don't know of a single broken dish.
