my $250 Danner boots have lost most their tread and have separated at the seam enough that my feet get soaked if I step in a puddle, less than 2 years old

Danner has a smaller padding too but probably a front runner for quality even though quality has been falling off. The Acadia is expensive and can be re-soled but I have not worn out the top part
