Norwegian merino wool clothing line — baselayers, thermal underwear, jumpers, and socks — manufactured at a modern factory in Lithuania rather than outsourced to Asia.

Why it's buy-it-for-life
Owners report Devold baselayers and thermal underwear lasting 15+ years of regular use before wearing out, though several note the socks wear through faster than the rest of the line, and the brand was majority-acquired by Fenix Outdoor in 2025.

I can attest to the quality. Own few of their products and I can say that if one takes care of them they'll last long time thus being worthy investment.

Their fully product line is made in EU, from the modern, high-tech factory in Lithuania, with very good pay and working conditions and proper craftsmanship.
Fenix Outdoor International AG... has agreed to acquire 65% of the shares in Devold of Norway AS. This could go the way it often does
Thanks for the recommendation. I love finding smaller brands like this that still focus on quality.
I love Devold, but most of their products are made of Merino which is usually not European.
My Devold socks fall apart in 6 months, but the baselayers and jumpers are good.
I have some devold thermal underwear that are 15+ years old. Finally falling apart and gonna replace them with two new sets.
