its held for about three years now but its much worse, it takes longer to open cans and it will not actually open cans with taller rims like Kirkland brand tuna cans

my broad stroke response would be looking at OXO Good Grips line of utensils, they are almost always good to very good, once in a while they are best of breed
They have a lifetime warranty so I just replaced my pizza cutter for free after using it for 24 years
