Australian-made leather work boots, often compared to Blundstone as a rugged everyday boot.

Why it's buy-it-for-life
Long-term Blundstone owners who switched consider Redback the better-holding-up option: same Chelsea style, still made in Australia, with thicker, better-quality leather and a tougher sole, often at a lower price.

I have a pair of lace-up Redbacks in that style which have lasted me a while, although the heel is wearing down

They were hands down the most uncomfortable things id ever worn... non removeable insoles, weak outsole, just terrible.

I have a pair of Redback slip on boots that are super comfy... I just got them, so tine will tell on their durability.

so this is great to know they are good quality, long lasting boots

They are great, but I wish they could make a larger toe box version.

I've got nearly 3 years or so on my redbacks for daily chef work. Super duper comfy and still good condition.

Three year old boots I wear three quarters of the year in warehouses and gardens, hiking and general wear. Super comfortable right out the gate.
Same style boot, better in every way, still made in Australia, cheaper, better quality leather, thicker leather, tougher sole.
Redback has been the most durable i have found for a daily wear/shop boot. Brands like Red Wing that should have been comparable failed in less than a year. These typically make it 5-6 years before I wear through the leather.
the rounded heel sole, which does not protrude, makes it more comfortable to walk in.
They are awesome boots. I've never had any issues with the leather. They can't be re-soled though.
In my opinion, Redback are way better than Blundstone!
