I have a pair of leather boots that are kinda casual, and I’ve had them about 10 years and they look maybe a year old.
The vibram lower just totally separated from the leather upper.

Rockports were awesome shoes and always what I wore to work and recommended.
Yup, when they were bought by Adidas (I think) it all went downhill.
30 years is damn good for a sole on a shoe.
I have heard that this will make both pairs of shoes last more than twice as long.
