Why it's buy-it-for-life
Real-world reports are mixed: some wearers report 3-5+ years of use with pairs still looking new, and note the Canada-made line is noticeably higher quality than the overseas-made line. Others report rips or tears within the first wear or within months, weak stitching at seams, and declining quality on recent purchases compared to older pairs. Sheertex offers a 90-day warranty with proof of purchase.

I don't think they are as indestructible as they advertise.

Both my sheertex snagged the first time I wore them so I'm not surprised

My old sheertex (3+ years) look brand new, but my new ones (3 months) did something similar after one wear... i think their quality is declining

These ripped all down the butt after 11 months
The made in Canada ones are far superior quality.
I've had Sheertex tights for almost 5 years now.
it's an undergarment which should never be considered bifl
Mine ripped when I put them on for the very first time
the stitching between the thicker and thinner parts of the tights is pretty weak. Just burst when I sat down.
