GE has been ok.
I would purchase a GE model without an icemaker as that is often the number one repair problem with any refrigerator but overall the brand is very reliable.
We bought a GE based on the videos I watched and have been very happy with it in the short time we've owned it.
My 1939 Ge Deluxe Refrigerator Freezer 6 Cubic foot it has a rotary compressor with SO4 sulfer dioxide as the refrigerant.
1945 ish ge refrigerator as main fridge up until a few years ago then I moved it to my work where it's our break room fridge. Works fine.
I have a GE refrigerator in my garage that's probably 70 years old and still runs fine. ($35) And no, they don't make them like that anymore.
