Owners routinely report 16-20+ years of service, often across multiple households, with failures limited to wear parts like the brewer's rubber piston ring. The machines are repairable (a proprietary oval-key bit is needed to open the casing, but internal parts remain readily available), though the design isn't meant to be serviced casually and needs periodic internal cleaning to prevent mold buildup from steam and coffee dust. One owner's factory-refurbished unit has run daily since 2015, with a single repair costing a flat $300 (or $300 credit toward a new machine if unfixable).

Best coffeemaker on earth. I bought a factory refurbished one in fall 2015, it's been used daily since, and it's had one repair since then that cost $300... It's expensive but it's saved us thousands over the years!
Bought a 16 year old Jura coffeemachine with a default. Repaired it and it will last me for life I hope.
I've had one for about 16/17 years now... Still going strong and it's my favourite coffee from anywhere. Can't recommend it highly enough
it's NOT designed to be taken apart, serviced, and put back together again... the entire inside of the machine was caked... the mold starts growing

that thing was consistently out of order. We had to have it serviced at least once a month.
I bought a broken z10 over the summer for $100 and fixed it up and got it working as well. One of the best things I've ever repaired.
