A wired optical computer mouse from Logitech's early-2000s M-BD58 line — a simple, no-frills design without modern high-DPI sensors.

Why it's buy-it-for-life
Nearly 24 years old and still fully functional. Owners describe it as having almost nothing to break, and report identical units surviving decades of daily use, LAN-party abuse, and drops onto concrete floors without failing, though some note the low polling resolution and DPI feel dated by modern standards.

Sometimes newer is better. You tried one of them MX Masters? ... That thing is in excellent condition.

Still works, a little finicky, but as reliable as ever... easy to take apart and clean.

There isn't anything to break there.
the keyboards, all the hardware is durable as ever. but with drawback.
I still have that mouse too. Got it for $14 in 1999 from Best Buy.
