Osprey repaired it under warranty when it failed, and the owner still finds it good for light travel carry-on use — just not for heavy daily school use.

One redditor bought the Nebula for their son's high school use and found that after about one school year of daily 13-hour carry with hardcover textbooks and binders, the interior mesh wore through at the edges and the stretchy water-bottle pockets tore. Osprey repaired it under warranty, though the replacement fabric didn't match. The owner still considers it fine as a lightweight travel carry-on but no longer recommends it for heavy daily school-backpack duty.
