My dad used the same one as a lunchbox for at least two decades. There should be a threaded hole in the middle of the bottom of the lid for an ice pack to screw in.

Looks like a solid double walled cooler that uses the general rules of thermodynamics efficiently. And the construction seems to hold up. I doubt the brand matters tho.
I bought this cooler in 1993 when I was 18 years old. It's the first cooler I ever owned and the only thing that's stayed with me all these years.
It's a family heirloom now! It's in great condition for 32 years. They don't make em like they used to!
