I have a Herman Miller Mirra 2. My wife has the same. My father in law's office has 10 of them. They were all bought refurbished anywhere between 3 and 8 years ago. They all receive daily use. There has been no issue with any of them.
i've had a mirra chair for 13 years.... actually kind of prefer the harder back piece... Also a programmer, and it is well worth it, helped back issues I had when I bought it
